  • 11/15/2017 - From the Dubai Airshow:

    INDIGO PARTNERS signed MOU to order another 430 A320neo Family aircraft for operation by FRONTIER AIRLINES (134), JETSMART (70), VOLARIS (80) and WIZZ AIR (146).

    FLYDUBAI agreed to order 175 737 MAXs and take purchase rights on 50 more.

    CDB AVIATION ordered 90 A320neo Family aircraft (45 previously undisclosed).

    NORDIC AVIATION CAPITAL ordered two Q400s for lease to Kenya's JAMBOJET.

    EGYPTAIR agreed with AerCap to lease six Trent-powered 787-9s for delivery starting 2019 and 15 LEAP-powered A320neos for 2020.

    BOEING was selected by Cathay Pacific to provide landing gear overhaul and exchange program for its 14 747-8Fs.

    GOLDEN FALCON AVIATION signed MOU to order 25 A320neo Family aircraft for operation by WATANIYA AIRWAYS, Kuwait.

    EGYPTAIR signed LOI to order 12 CS300s, plus take purchase rights on 12 more.

    ETHIOPIAN AIRLINES ordered four 777Fs (two previously announced).

    AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERS has follow-on order from Aeronaves T.S.M., Mexico to convert three more MD-83s to freighters.

    NORDAM and CHINA AIRLINES are forming joint venture in Taiwan for repair/overhaul of thrust reversers, fan cowls, inlet cowls, flight controls, radomes and other composite or metal-bonded structures.

    HONEYWELL was selected by Gulf Air to supply 131-9A APUs for 29 A320neo Family aircraft.

    THALES was selected by Oman Air to supply AVANT IFE systems for 20 737 MAXs.
  • 11/13/2017 - GAMA reports general aviation aircraft manufacturers delivered 531 aircraft (138 jets) worth $4.12b in 3Q17 vs 537 (136 jets) worth $4.16b in 3Q16.
  • 11/13/2017 - From the Dubai Airshow:

    EMIRATES agreed to order 40 787-10s for delivery starting in 2022r.

    AZERBAIJAN AIRLINES ordered five 787-8s and agreed to order two large freighters, to be finalized at a later time; it also signed up for Boeing's new 787 Landing Gear Exchange Program.

    ALAFCO finalized previously announced order for 20 more 737 MAX 8s, and now has 40 MAXs on order.

    BOEING forecasts demand in Middle East for 3,350 new commercial jet aircraft worth $730b over next 20 years; BOMBARDIER forecasts demand in Middle East for 450 60-to-150-seat aircraft, or only 4% of total global market.

    RUSSIA and UAE began preliminary talks on joint production in UAE of a civil aircraft based on the MC-21.
  • 11/9/2017 - China's CASC signed $37b purchase agreement with BOEING for 300 aircraft (breakdown TBA).
  • 11/8/2017 - FEDEX EXPRESS ordered 30 ATR 72-600Fs, and optioned 20, for delivery starting in 2020.
  • 11/8/2017 - AIRBUS delivered 63 aircraft (27 A320ceos; 22 A320neos; five A330s; eight A350s; A380) in October vs 54 in October 2016.
