7/18/2018 - VIETJET signed MOU to order 80 737 MAX 10s and 20 737 MAX 8s.
AIRBUS secured order commitment on Tuesday for 60 A220-300s from David Neeleman's new US-based startup (name TBA) and another today for six A330neos from an unidentified customer.
EMBRAER announced order commitments for 273 aircraft from REPUBLIC for 100 E175s, plus 100 purchase rights; WATANIYA for 10 E195-E2s, plus 10 purchase rights; MAURITANIA for two E175s; AZUL for 21 more E195-E2s; HELVETIC for 12 E190-E2s, plus 12 purchase rights; NORDIC AVIATION CAPITAL for three E190s; and an unidentified customer in Spain for three E195-E2s.
7/17/2018 - BOEING announced orders from AIR LEASE CORPORATION for 75 737 MAXs and three 787-9s, VOLGA-DNEPR GROUP and CARGOLOGICHOLDING for 29 777Fs and five 747-8Fs, JET AIRWAYS for 75 737 MAXs, GOSHAWK for 20 737 MAXs and GOL for 15 more 737 MAXs.
AIRBUS announced orders from MACQUARIE AIRFINANCE for 20 A320neos, LEVEL for two more A330-200s, and from two undisclosed customers for 11 A320neo Family aircraft and eight A350-900s respectively.

7/10/2018 - AIRBUS renamed the CS100 and CS300 as A220-100 and A220-300 respectively and secured MOU from JETBLUE to order 60 A220-300s for 2020-2025 (aircraft will be assembled in Mobile, AL) to replace its E190s.
7/6/2018 - AIRBUS forecasts demand for 37,390 new pax/freighter aircraft worth $5.8t over next 20 years to more than double world fleet to 47,990 aircraft from 21,450 at end 2017.
7/5/2018 - BOEING and EMBRAER have signed non-binding MOU to form Brazil-based 80/20 joint venture comprising the commercial aircraft and services business of Embraer that would strategically align with Boeing’s commercial development, production, marketing and lifecycle services operations.
