Swift Air, the largest, independent charter airline in the United
States, made a substantial contribution this week to ongoing hurricane recovery needs in
Puerto Rico. Swift Air transported 30,000 pounds of medical supplies from Miami to San Juan,
Puerto Rico, where it is being distributed to hospitals and medical facilities throughout the
island.

The project was coordinated with Aspen-based philanthropist Jan Soderberg, former
President Bill Clinton and the Clinton Foundation’s Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Action
Network on Post-Disaster Recovery, which is hosting a meeting in San Juan this week.

“As soon as I learned of the requirement and contacted Swift Air, without hesitation,
Jeff replied, ‘we’ve got this,’” said Soderberg, speaking of Swift Air’s Chief Executive, Jeff Conry.
“Swift Air’s team jumped into action to help make this endeavor possible. With 72 hours’
notice, Swift Air organized its aircraft and team to transport the medical aid,” Soderberg said.

“I’m grateful to our team and the other organizations involved who worked hard, under
time constraints, to provide this relief to the medical community and people of Puerto Rico,”
said Conry.

Swift Air recently signed an agreement to be acquired by Miami-based iAero Group, a
leading integrated aviation business. Conry has been at the helm of Swift Air since 2012,
growing the airline’s fleet to 30 aircraft, and taking the lead in the independent charter market
in the US.

“This kind of action and initiative in the face of a challenge is exactly what attracted us
to the Swift Air team,” said Robert Caputo, Chief Executive of iAero Group.
Swift Air is headquartered in Greensboro, NC with a fleet of 30 Boeing 737 aircraft
providing domestic and international service to professional and collegiate sports teams,
entertainers, vacation companies and government agencies.
